As I mentioned before…it’s been a lowkey week.
But one exciting thing has happened.
I made Fitnessista’s amazeballs for the first time. And I’m pretty sure I uttered a profanity when I took a bite, they were so good.
I went pretty much by the same recipe, just used some of the substitutes that she mentioned.
In the mix:
2 tbsp Sunwarrior vanilla protien powder
2 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
2 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp honey
1 dried fig
Dash of cinnamon
Mix together and form into balls.
I added up the calories of my version and they came out to 100 calories per ball…not bad!
These only make 4 balls, so double or triple the recipe if you want more I was too lazy to pull out the food processor so I actually mixed everything with my hands in a small bowl. Probably would have been a bit easier to do in the food processor, but this worked fine too if you’re lazy like me I also keep mine in the fridge.
