Bestowed Review and Giveaway

Monthly goodie boxes are all the rage these days. And I’ve definitely hopped on board to try a few.

I’ve tried Naturebox and StitchFix, and now I’ve tried Bestowed.

Bestowed

I received my first Bestowed box last week and was giddy with excitement to open it. Does getting packages in the mail ever get old?? I swear it feels like Christmas each and every time.

Bestowed was founded in 2012 by Heather Bauer, a nationally recognized nutrition expert, author, and entrepreneur. Bestowed is a subscription service that offers consumers a personalized way to discover, sample, shop and learn about the best nutrition and lifestyle products on the market.

As soon as I opened the box I knew Bestowed had lived up to it’s cute name. The box was chock full of full sized goodies that any foodie and health nut would love.

Right on top was a detailed description of all the products included in the box.

In my box was:

Oloves

Mmm…I love olives and these are a perfect little snack! Not too spicy either.

Nektar Honey Crystals

LOVE these. I’m a tea drinker so I was excited to add these to my morning cup. Even though I don’t normally add anything to my tea, these crystals gave just the right amount of sweetness. And I love that they are no mess no fuss!

EBoost

I haven’t had a chance to try this yet, but I’m excited too. Especially on those long days where I need to muster up some energy for a workout!

photo6

Hemp Hearts

Haven’t had a chance to try these yet either, but looking forward to sprinkling them on some yogurt.

KIND Granola

KIND is a brand I’m familiar with (love their bars!) so I was happy to see a HUGE bag of their granola included in the box. I’m pretty picky about granola and I have to say that this stuff is awesome. Perfect texture with the right amount of crunchy and soft.

Gnu Foods Hi-Fiber Mini

Loved these as a snack before heading out for my workout. Not a big fan of the Cinnamon Raisin flavor, but love the dense texture on these lil guys.

I probably won’t end up using this since my days are already filled with CrossFit and running. Plus it’s hard to do at home workouts in my condo. But I still thought this was a great add in!

Love what’s in your box? Hop online to Bestowed’s website and there’s a section that tells you where you can buy your favorite products, as well as some tips on how to use them.

Bestowed is definitely the best monthly subscription box I’ve tried yet. I love the mix of products it includes and how there’s some items I’m familiar with and some new-to-me items as well.

You guys, unlike most boxes, Bestowed is not only filled with awesome products, it’s also affordable. Only $19 a month! You can also sign up for an annual membership for $209. Shipping is included and your guaranteed to have your box be delivered to you the 15th of every month.

Even better? You can get $5 off your first box with code: 5OFFBESTOWED01

  1. I’m currently under subscription with Naturebox. I wonder if you think Bestowed is a better box? I like all the healthy snacking ideas, but it gives me too many excuses to nibble through the day. I’m a big granola junkie so I’d definitely like to try this Bestowed out too. Thanks for sharing.

    1. I was under Naturebox for a few months, but ultimately canceled because of the cost. I didn’t feel that what I was getting each month matched up to the cost of the box. The portions were pretty small and wouldn’t last long in my house. Although they were usually pretty tasty! I definitely enjoy the Bestowed box better. It’s cheaper and has a variety of items in it. And I like how if you find a new item that you like they tell you where you can buy it!

  2. The Bestowed box looks amazing! I’ve been wanting to try one of these monthly boxes, and maybe this is the one to start with! Those olives are calling my name, too! πŸ™‚ As for a product I can’t live without, that would have to be Greek yogurt!!
